How We Operate:
Quilt Books USA does not have a store, but is a mail order/internet business. We order items from our distributors every day as customers order them. We can usually mail them in 1 to 3 days. Delivery takes 2 to 6 days. Orders will be sent First Class, Priority Mail, or UPS depending on the weight of the order.
The business is owned by Eileen Chapman, a quilter of 25 years. She is also a designer and author of 8 books. She knows many of the authors and publishers, and can offer "informed" answers to your questions. Quilt Books USA is a small, personal "dot.com" business.

Privacy Policy:
Any information you give to us will be kept confidential and will not be shared with any other business.
Credit Card Concerns:
We have a Secure Server and have never experienced a problem, however, if you do not wish to use enter your credit card number, then you may type Will Call" instead of the credit card information. Then then call us at 888-784-5825 during business hours (9-6 Eastern time, Mon-Fri.) with the number.
On future orders you can type "On File" and we will look up your number in our accounting system. Credit card numbers are stored in our accounting system, which is separate from our web site.
Unavailable Items:
We do not stock items at Quilt Books USA, but order daily from our distributors. If they backorder an item to us, then we will backorder the item to the customer. If they have discontinued carrying an item, then we will not be able to get it for our customer and will notify you in this event.
When we send the backordered item, we will apply any unused postage from your original order. If all of the postage was used from the orginal order, then no additional postage for the backorder will be charged. Often these orders are sent by Media Mail which can take 4 to 20 days for delivery.
Return Policy:
Items may be postmarked for return within 12 days for a full refund. They must be in resalable condition. After 12 days a credit will be given on your Quilt Books USA account, which may be used on a future order. After 30 days there will be a 10% restocking fee. We do not refund postage/handling.
When you return an item, you must pack in a heavy, sturdy mailer (not a bubble mailer). Mail to:
